   Isang normal na araw - yan ang inakala ko. Hindi maganda sa pakiramdam. Dumilim ang paningin ko; pakiramdam ko ay nawala ako sa kung saan naroon ako noong mga panahong iyon. Hindi ko alam ang sasabihin. Paano nga ba ang gagawin? Ang hirap mag-isip ng magandang gawin kung wala naman talagang magandang gawin sa kasalukuyan. Hindi ko na maibabalik ang oras at kahit kaya ko, wala naman akong magagawa para mapunan ang kulang. 

   Hindi ko inaasahan na ngayon ko malalaman ang matagal nang inaasahan ngunit iniiwasan. Ang mga salitang iyon ay parang isang malakas na bayo na dumurog sa aking mga buto. Bigla akong napilay at walang naroroon para itayo ako.

   Mas madilim ang gabi.
